Social Media
During my last year as a student in Auburn University’s Public Relations Department I was an administrator, along with my classmates, of Auburn University’s social network, Auburn Family. I completed administrative tasks such as adding new users, monitoring user submissions and producing editorial content.
I created and managed the social media for Cafe 123. I would use status updates to inform customers about the specials, upcoming events, news coverage and interact with regular customers. The page was a terrific source of feedback for the restaurant and customers with the convenient venue for dialog on business.
I developed an album advertisement for US Cafe's new location in Buckhead during my internship. I created a basic ad backdrop with the company's logo, location information and the key message about the new location. I added pictures from the grand opening to individual pictures and added them to an album on US Cafe's Facebook Page. I tagged each person in the pictures which cross-promoted US Cafe's new location and Facebook Page across those individual's profiles and other's minifeeds. The album was viewed over 500 times the day it went live.
